The Finnish Cultural
Foundation chose
us to write short biographies of the over 350 benefactors of Donor
Funds within its Central Fund. Donor Funds are named after their
benefactors. The Finnish Cultural Foundation is a private foundation
that supports cultural life in Finland by awarding grants from the
Central Fund and 17 Regional Funds for individuals and organisations
working in the arts, sciences, and various aspects of cultural life. In
addition to a grant diploma, grant recipients are given a short
biographical brochure about the person or association after whom the
granting fund is named.
Sigillum was also
contracted to write
the biographies of over 200 Regional Fund benefactors. With over 500
biographies, the Sigillum co-operative is the most experienced fund
brochure producer in Finland. Our brochures were distributed to grant
recipients for the first time at the Central Fund’s annual
celebration in 2011
